Membership

The Kimberley Pilbara Cattlemen’s Association offers four Membership categories:

• Primary Producer Membership
• Stakeholder Membership
• Associate Membership
• Youth Membership

Primary Producer Membership

You are eligible for Primary Producer Membership if your company, business or employer has more than 50 head of cattle.

Membership as a Primary Producer is calculated at 30 cents per head with a minimum fee of $1,500 plus GST per annum and a maximum fee of $15,000 plus GST per annum.

The benefits of KPCA Primary Producer Membership are:

• Representation on issues that are important specifically to the Northern Beef Industry at a Local, State and Federal Government level
• 10% membership discount to KPCA hosted events and courses
• Access to bureaucratic process support (e.g. advocacy and professional correspondence)
• Voting rights at the KPCA Annual General Meeting
• Two representatives are allowed per business/company at KPCA events at the discounted rate
• One vote per business on key decisions at KPCA General meetings One place on the KPCA Executive if voted in
• Preference for on-station research projects and input into what is relevant for this area
• Discounts with key industry partners and service providers
• Ability to shape the direction of the organisation and industry (both informally and through an annual ‘have your say’ survey)
• Opportunity to participate in international industry tours

Stakeholder Membership

Stakeholder Membership is available to any business or company which provides goods or services to primary producers.

Stakeholder Membership is $3,000 per annum.

The benefits of Stakeholder Membership are:

• 10% membership discount (for one representative) to KPCA hosted events and courses
• One representative per business/company to vote at the KPCA Annual General Meeting
• Opportunity for one of two places on the KPCA Executive if voted in Ability to shape the direction of the organisation and industry (both informally and through an annual ‘have your say’ survey)
• Promotion of your business logo and link on our website homepage – www.kpca.net.au
• 100 word profile of your business on membership section of our website Opportunity to contribute one 200-300 word article the KPCA’s Monthly
• Milestones e-newlsetter (maximum two articles per year) on relevant industry topics (Stakeholder to provide content)
• Opportunity for the promotion of Stakeholder activities on KPCA social media (Stakeholder to provide content).

Associate Membership

People involved in Agricultural Primary Production but who do not own more than 50 head of cattle are eligible for Associate Membership of the KPCA. Associate Membership is suitable for people who want to support the industry and stay informed with what is relevant to our region and sector

Associate Membership is $500 per annum.

The benefits of Associate Membership are:

• 10% membership discount to KPCA hosted events and courses
• One representative per business/company at KPCA events at the discounted rate
• Discounts with key industry partners and service providers
• Ability to shape the direction of the organisation and industry (both informally and through an annual ‘have your say’ survey)
• Attendance at KPCA Annual General Meeting and General Meetings and opportunity to put motions to the Executive.
• Business logo (if applicable) in the Membership section of our website – www.kpca.net.au

Youth Members (including Beef Connectors Membership)

Youth aged under 25 years of age who are involved in an agricultural primary production business are invited to join KPCA as Youth Members.

Youth Membership is $100 per annum and may be paid directly online at the link below.  Please complete the membership application form as per all other memberships. 

The benefits of Youth Membership are:

• Automatic social membership of KPCA Beef Connectors Priority registration for KPCA Beef Connectors events
• Opportunity to connect with and learn from other young people involved in the agriculture industry
• Attendance at KPCA Annual General Meeting and General Meetings and opportunity to put motions to the Executive
• Ability to shape the direction of the organisation and industry (both informally and through an annual ‘have your say’ survey)

• Opportunity for one graphic advertising in the KPCA Newsletter Monthly Milestones (member to provide graphic in JPG format)
• One social media post on KPCA Facebook page concurrent to the publication of the newsletter.
