Recognising the importance of enhancing Biosecurity awareness among producers, the KPCA is currently developing a customised induction program for presentation, on behalf of pastoralists, to Visitors, including Exploration and Mining operations. Our goal is to alleviate the communication burden between visitors who frequently access Stations.
Our objective is to elevate Biosecurity awareness and minimise the environmental & human impact on pastoral land and to a station’s operations and staff, during industry and exploratory visits. This comprehensive induction program is crafted to educate and ensure compliance from visitors to pastoral leases in the Pilbara/Kimberley regions.
The key areas of focus in our tailored Inductions encompass, but are not limited to:
- Environmental considerations
- Engineering controls
- Cultural sensitivities
- Livestock awareness
- Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) & Emergency Management
